Jellyfish are one of the oldest living aquatic animals that has been roaming the deep seas for possibly 700 million years. It is a predator yet symbolises tranquility.

“BLOOM” is a series where I depict connections. Connection between the aquatic life and the human beings, connection with the environment or connection with the inner self. In this particular series, I use light to portray positivity and how we should find a light within ourselves in the most difficult of times. To me, the lights are very alluring. I believe that light and dark go together very well and one balances the other. I love how the darkness hugs the soft glow of a light and how the light kisses the murkiness. My work exhibits jellyfish in the deep ocean and shows how even in the most darkest of the place you can find a beauty.
